Concrete removal
Slabs, foundations, footings, driveways, patios and walls broken out, loaded and hauled — with the concrete sent to recycling where a facility will take it.
Concrete is often the last thing left on a site and the heaviest thing to move. A house can be down in a day and still leave a basement, a garage slab and a driveway behind. A commercial lot can be cleared of buildings and still be covered in slab and paving. Until that concrete is out and the ground is backfilled, nobody can build.
Beltway Demolition removes concrete as a stand-alone job or as part of a larger house teardown or commercial demolition. We break it out with the right equipment for the thickness and the access, load it, and haul it away, then backfill and rough grade so the area is ready for whatever comes next.
How we approach it
01 / Look
Thickness, reinforcement, area, access for equipment and what is buried nearby.
02 / Mark
Underground lines marked through Miss Utility before anything is broken or dug.
03 / Break
Concrete broken, rebar separated, material loaded and hauled to recycling or disposal.
04 / Fill
Voids backfilled, compacted where required and the area rough graded.
Photos with a tape measure or a rough sketch with dimensions are enough for us to give a budget range before we visit.
Clean concrete is a recyclable material: crushed, it becomes aggregate for base and fill. Where a recycling facility will accept the material, we send it there rather than to landfill, and we keep the tickets for your file. If the project can reuse crushed material on site as base or fill, ask us about it at the quote stage.
We remove concrete across Prince George's County, Montgomery County, Anne Arundel County and the rest of our service area. For permits and timing, see the FAQ.
